| From the car park walk the entrance path over the footbridge spanning afon Stewi and walk on through the woods following the track for approximately half a mile, passing a seat on your left, until you arrive at a track junction with a large stone on the left. Turn sharp right on to the joined track. |

| Near the large stone, follow the track as it goes up the hill. After 250 yards you will arrive at a path which crosses the track. |
Leg 3: Start of leg GR: SN629840

| Turn right on to the path and walk down it until you join another track. |

| Turn left on the track and follow it for 450 yards to a point about 30 yards short of the stream. Look for a narrow footpath on your left. |
Leg 5: Leg distance 0.14 mile(s) Start of leg GR: SN632838

| Turn left on to the footpath and follow it for about 100 yards as it bends around to meet your outward track, just short of the footbridge. Turn right along this track to cross the footbridge and arrive back at the car park, passing picnic tables on your left after the bridge. |
